Collaborated as a freelancer designer between 1992 and 2020 with companies in the industrial and services sectors, in the area of product design and exhibition spaces.

Carla Lobo has developed research in the area of design and in the transdisciplinary approach of ceramics as an object of study, with a particular focus on color and ceramic tiles and public spaces, with published articles in the area of Design, Color, Ergonomics, Heritage, and Urban Space.
