Carolina Calheiros was born in Guarda in 1995.

She graduated in industrial design (2016) from the School of Arts and Design of Caldas da Rainha. In 2020, in the same institution, she completed the master’s degree in product design with the project entitled “Photosynthesis”. In her thesis, she develops a sustainable process for generating and preserving images in ceramics, mostly from natural inputs.

Currently, she has a research scholarship from LIDA – Research Laboratory in Design and Arts, for the project “ECP: Ecocerâmica e Cristal de Portugal”.
