This project meets the need to produce high-performance components by developing a deposition head for continuous fibers. This type of process makes it possible to manufacture parts with smaller thicknesses and improved mechanical properties compared to the option of short fibers or thermoplastics. Bearing in mind that the deposition of thermoplastics / composites requires high volumes of support material, there is a need to create a method or system that allows them to be reduced, where the pinbed forming concept is applied. The development of a bed of pins with independent actuators allows printing on a non-planar surface, being able to follow the geometry of the part on its vertical axis, minimizing the need for supports for overhang geometries.
