This exhibition reflects the research carried out as part of the Narratives of the Self between the public and the private project.
Establishing a bridge between Contemporary Art History and Gender Studies, it reflects on how feminist artistic practices in the area of artist’s books and editions contribute to the emancipation of ‘female subjectivities’, with particular emphasis on heterodox self-portraitist and autobiographical discourses.
