Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He graduated in Equipment Design (2015) from the Polytechnic Institute of Guarda – ESTG. He took his master’s exams in Product Design (2018) at the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria – ESAD.CR, presenting the project “Ludus 2.x – Do brincar à música”, supervised by Professor Renato Bispo. Throughout his academic career, he was honoured in a number of design competitions (Verallia Design Awards – 2015, 2017 and 2018; Coz’Art – 2016).
He was awarded a research grant under the INOV-C project (reference: 006/INOV-C/2018), at SerQ – Centro de inovação e competências da Floresta (2018-2019). He provided consultancy services in Design and Strategy between 2019 and 2023 (SerQ; Câmara Municipal da Sertã; Câmara Municipal de Pedrogão Grande; Carpifran, Lda).
In the 2022/2023 academic year, he provided teaching services as a guest assistant at ESAD.CR, in the Plastic Arts degree programme. That same year he joined the doctoral programme in Design at the University of Aveiro and is developing research focused on the “desenho de interfaces para a educação musical orientada pela sensorialidade” [design of interfaces for sensory-oriented music education], under the guidance of Professor Rui Cavadas da Costa and Professor João Cavadas da Costa.
His areas of interest involve Interaction Design – Meaning and Experience; Music – Instrument and Performance; Education; Health and Well-being; and Critical Design.
