Joana Blanc Gomes Reinaldo lives in Óbidos. She has a degree in Industrial Design from the School of Arts and Design of Caldas da Rainha, Campus 3 of the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria. In 2020 she started a Master’s in Product Design also at the School of Arts and Design of Caldas da Rainha. She worked in collaboration with LIDA, Research Laboratory in Design and Arts, of the School of Arts and Design of Caldas da Rainha, being awarded a scholarship for “Summer with Science” in 2021 and 2022.

Her research interests focus on the exploration of design in education, science, cognitive neuroscience, motor skills, and inclusivity, with the goal of creating products and services to optimize the apprehension of knowledge in education, and other spaces such as museums. The synopsis of her dissertation focuses on the “Design of interactive objects in science exhibitions”, where she also intends to democratize access to knowledge.
